Bella and James sat down and James is ignoring Bella. The last part of this shot is useable because Bella tries to talk to him and he ignores him. 


Bella waiting for James, this clip gets turned into a montage. The clip is useabel because we just need her waiting for him. 



James and Bella planning there exsit of the building. This clip is not useable because it's not narrative or performance.

This is a mid/close up shot of Bella waiting for James. This clip is useable exsept for the end when Bella looks at the camera. 





This shot is good because James is on his phone then he gets a call and ignores Bella. The good thing about this clip is that you can see by Bella's facial expressions that she is upset. This clip is very useable. 



This clip is Bella sending James a message. This is a good over the shoulder clip, but you can't see the text, so the clip isn't useable.

Bella and James' hands. This shot is very useable and is good quality. 



Bella and James' hand, camrea is a bit shakey at the start. Also James' pulled his hand away a bit too slowly. So the shot is useable but there are  better ones.



A shot of James looking at his message from Bella. This shot is very useable because it doesn't have the reflection of the camera in the other shots we filmed. Also the shot is good because the message on the phone is clear. 



The shot of James' phone. The shot isn't useable because the phone pulls away too fast and you can't see the message clearly. 



James and Hannah talking while the cameras gets the framing right. Some of this clip is useable because it shows them together and happy which fits with the narritive. 



A shot of James on his phone then putting his arm around Hannah. The end of this shot is useable because it shows exsactly what we put on the story boards.




Bella and Hannah discussing the shot then a boy walks in the shot, at the end Bella walks up and leaves. The last part of the clip is the only useable part. because of interruption. The shot is framed slightly off but it can be flixed in Premier.



James and Hannah getting up and he puts his arm around her. This shot is good because it is from behind and looks very natural. So it is definite useable. 





James and Bella sat down then James gets up to go and Bella joins him. This shot is useable because it matches the story boards well.

Close up of Bella singing the song, she stops and laughs then starts again. The shot is very useable because the purple lighting connote and indie song. Also because Bella looks at the cameras which makes it more relatable. The shot is a good close up also. 



Bella talking to the camera. This is when we were getting the close up framed right.The shot look good nut is completely unusable because it hasn't got any performance or narrative in it.

A mid shot, everyone is discussing the shot, then the camera goes out of focus. This shot is completely unsuseabel because there is no performance or narritive.

Bella performing
I think that the quality and positioning of this footage is good as the image is clear and quite plain but effective. However I think we would need to re-film this particular shot as I could do with being slightly more central within the frame.  Also there is no pink/purple lighting on this shot.







Hannah and Rory kissing
I think that the idea of this shot was good but the outcome could possibly have been refilmed. I think  starting at the feet and moving up is a good shot and could have been used in the final product but more precision and planning of positioning could have been done when we were filming.



Hannah and Rory cuddling on the floor by the grass
I think that this shot is good as it goes from a high angle to a low angle and the fact its an over the shoulder shot causes there to be variation within the video. I think that this shot could have been used in the final product, despite the slight shaky filming, I think that the hand held effect works in this shot and therefore would fit in the video.




Rory putting his jacket around Hannah
I really like this piece of footage as it represents the relationship being 'cute' which is what we were aiming for at the beginning of the narrative footage. I also think that because they are positioned fairly central, the shot works in that respect. This shot could definitely be used in the final product I think.

I really like this shot because I think that the close up is emotive and fits the feel of the video, but also because there is camera movement, the whole shot becomes more interesting and I think it definitely be used in the final product.

I think the idea of this shot is good as it means that we could have done an action shot from the shot where Rory puts his jacket on Hannah from behind. The positioning of the two of them needs to be more central as the shot doesn't look balanced.

I think that the positioning of this shot is good. The pink/purple light is good, however it could have been slightly stronger and this lighting causes slight grain in the image and makes it look quite faint. I think that this would need to be re-filmed with more of the pink/purple light in order for it to look more effective, and more similar to the RedTape footage.

This footage is similar to the one I've analysed before. I think that this shot is good because I am positioned very central within the frame. However, it is still slightly grainy and the purple light needs to be stronger, so this footage probably couldn't be used in the final product.

I really like the angle and colouring and angle of this footage as the purple light is stronger and the angle is a close up but different from just a straightforward close up of the face. The footage is still quite grainy but I think that this shot could be used in the final product.

I think that this footage isn't usable because it is too dark and grainy. Also my head has slightly been chopped off and therefore causes the shot to look unprofessional. 




Contingency narrative- James and Bella walking through the doors of winter gardens
I think that the angle of this footage is good but we need to film it from the other side as you can't see me linking arms with James which was the whole purpose of this shot.

I think that this shot is a good idea and the colouring is good as it not too bright therefore matching the idea of it being an unhappy relationship because the gloominess connotes unhappiness. I also think that the positioning of this shot works well so it could be used in the final music video.





Bella and James walking- Bella links arms but James lets go
I think that the angle and lighting of this shot is good and would be good to use in the final product as it represents mine and James' relationship being rocky and unhappy which is what we were aiming for.

I really like this shot because it is positioned central and the lighting causes the quality of the footage to seem very professional and clear. However, this footage is unable due to it being a portrait frame. This is because it was filmed on a phone due to the camera dying when we were in the process filming this section narrative.

This footage is good as the lighting is good and it would be suitable to use for a time lapse which is what we were intending when we filmed it. The positioning of the frame could have been slightly better as the bench isn't completely central but other than that I think that this piece of footage could definitely be used in the final music video.

This shot is good as it is an over the shoulder shot therefore adding variation with the angles. The messages are slightly overexposed but we can hopefully fix that with contrast and brightness in Premiere.

I think this is a successful shot as the lighting and positioning work well and the angle is good as it provides variation from the mid shot we filmed of me waiting before. I think that this could definitely be used in the final video.


Bella and James stood- James answers the phone while Bella's talking
I really like this shot as me and James are positioned well, very central, and the shot really captures the tension between me and James. This could definitely be used in the final music video.

This piece of footage is good as it differs from other shots we have done and again shows the tension between me and James. This piece of footage would be really good for the intro or something as it gradually shows that the relationship isn't working.

I think that this piece of footage in good in the last part of it. I like how it starts blurry and then gradually comes into focus. However, we filmed this before RedTape, so the footage does not have the pink/purple effect therefore we probably can't use it in our final product. Also the clip cuts off before the guitar is finished so that is another reason why it could not be used.

I think that the composition and quality of this piece is footage is very good as it is clear and looks quite professional. However, the clip cuts off before the guitar is finished so the whole thing couldn't be used. Also the pink/purple effect is not on this particular clip.

Aside from the laughing at the end, I think that this piece of footage is good. The use of a close up is effective, and the quality of the footage is high. I think it could have been used if we didn't go down the root of having pink/purple lighting for the performance section. Also, there needs to be more eye contact from me to the camera so that the audience is connected with more.

I think that this angle is very good as it is different from a plain close up. I also think that the lighting in this shot looks nice as it is daylight but there is still a darker, edgy side to it. More of this angle using the pink/purple lighting would be good to put into the final product.

I think that the idea of this angle was good because the high angle caused me to look subordinate which is what we were aiming for, however, I think the positioning of the shot could have been done slightly better as I look a bit misplaced and the framing doesn't look balanced in some ways. I think this shot would need to be refilmed, with the pink/purple lighting and with a bit more thought about where to position the camera.



Red tape footage- Bella singing last section of song
This RedTape footage is good because we have the pink/purple lighting, as well as the quality of the image being good. I need to give more eye contact to the camera in this performance section so that it is more emotive and we needed to refilm this shot but with more of the song.



Close up of guitar
I think that this angle of the guitar is good as it shows the whole guitar and is clear. The colouring of the shot goes well with the genre of the song, as the red tones connote love and the whole mood of it is quite indie, therefore matching the song. I think we could have filmed more of the guitar strumming, possibly to use as jumpcuts, in order to get a range of shot types within the final product.
